Orthodontics for teens
Starts just before or after the loss of the last baby tooth and fixed orthodontic appliances (metal or clear brackets) are used.
Mouth guards
The use of mouth guards during certain sports and activities or during sleep is necessary to reduce the risk of tooth injuries or abrasion.
Orthodontics for adults
Now is a viable option, with a much wider range of discreet modalities such as clear brackets, clear aligners and lingual brackets.
Whitening
Tooth whitening is a cosmetic dental procedure which lightens teeth and helps to remove stains and discoloration.
Invisible orthodontics
Clear braces: They are made of porcelain or plastic and simulate the natural color of the teeth.
Clear aligners: They are a series of custom-made clear plastic aligners which are removed and repositioned by the patient and must be changed at regular intervals.
Lingual brackets: They are custom-made brackets that are placed on the back of the teeth. This makes them virtually invisible as they are hidden from view.
THE ORTHODONTIST
Patricia Tsiouli graduated from the School of Dentistry of the University of Athens (UOA) in 2009 and received the Dental Surgeon Degree (DDS). During the last years of her studies she was working as a dental assistant in a private clinic in Athens.
